Somebody linked me to one of those "steal what you searched" art thievery places, and I was glad not to find my stuff.... bUT OH WAIT the next day I look again and they nabbed my shit. DO NOT SEARCH FOR YOUR STUFF THERE, OR IF YOU MUST, DELETE YOUR LINE ARTS. 

I wanted to title this entry something dorky like "the age of elves is over; the age of men is come" or something similar rofl

And speaking of ages, my time dabbling in art is at a close. More intimately expressed reasonings as to why on that art tumblr of mine. Start moving on and being productive instead of daydreaming and nitpicking all day, that sort of rambling.

The most art I'll post up here will probably be a couple of personal items... unless somehow I do a 180 degree turnaround from computer science and start chasing art professionally like a hipster-hippy (all due respect for hipster-hippies in the art profession *tips hat*). I hope I find a better hobby niche for myself in my other, non-digital art endeavors.

Anyway, I haven't exactly been very active here, and I never exactly made myself at home on dA. I stick all my ugly stuff on tumblr anyhow, though somehow I have more followers on dA, which I find funny.

I've made this sort of announcement on my art-related tumblrs (a resources/inspiration one and personal art one), so I might as well here, too. I'm not deleting anything, if I need to come back and grab something for somebody or something. However, I've placed passwords on these, basically to mark that I'm not active in making art anymore. I have no need to display a gallery of WIPS, but this more "official" portfolio of uploads here on deviantArt is here to stay.

Anyway, I've posted the password to tumblr followers. If you want to access that extraneous material on my art tumblr, feel free to ask me for the password.

Order of business:

1) Kiriban at 2012 page views. Will sketch or paint OC/fan thing; as custom, note me with screenshot and try to grab 2011 or 2013 or whatevers if 2012 doesn't show up. I get to choose how much and how detailed I want to draw the kiriban request. Just btw I feel like drawing Zelda/Link-related things atm, hehe. It's August and obviously this ain't happening XD

2) I have created a wip/sketch tumblr for you people to stalk me/chit chat with me on. lonelylittlethings.tumblr.com

3) I broke my iphone screen (boohoo, that's what I get for having one of those things) so I need monies to repair it. BAW. USD commissions are on an ask-only basis. I won't draw something that doesn't inspire or motivate me to draw. Prices/styles may be discussed.

for personal reasons, the following will change:

1) dA watermark will be on all images I upload here. dA owns my stuff once it's uploaded anyway, so I might as well.
It's not like anybody would seriously want to steal my humble work, but whatever, to prevent such from happening. This will also be in place to prevent anyone from stealing any potential commissioner's OCs that I made a representation of.

2) I will no longer take the time to thank everybody for faves. It's such a time-killer for me :/

3) My responses to comments will be limited, as it is also a time drain.

If any of this upsets you... um, sorry, too bad it's gonna be this way.

I guess as just a thing I should post.
1. I'm pretty stressed. Two labs and three hardcore classes (organic, physics, and calc 2+multivariable) isn't being friendly to me.
2. I currently draw as a means of stress relief/escapism. Normal life = drab/gray; drawing = I create stuff in colors! - type thing.
It may or may not be unhealthy.
3. I don't draw during the week so I'm really sorry about the slowness of everything *sigh*
umm... ya.

Two exams coming up this week. Joy. Don't think I'm really ready... ugh.
